A series of hand painted photographs of my home town Sunderland. This technique uses photographs that I have taken over the years which I then add paint and pen to, to create a visual aesthetic reminiscent of Victorian era hand coloured images. My own application of colour and pen though is much more erratic and expressive which also ties into Sunderland's strong cultural relationship with Punk.
